No Title, Yet - 26

Be careful who you step on going up,
Because you may meet them on the way down.
If you treat your life as a half-empty cup,
They may never see you smile…only frown.

There’s nothing wrong with climbing the ladder to success,
As long as, in doing so, you help those around you.
Try to remember who it is that you should impress,
Maybe look at your life from a different point of view.

It’s those around you that help make your life what it is,
So don’t tear them down, because you’ll only hurt yourself.
Don’t worry about opportunities you may miss.
Help others to succeed and you, too, may increase your wealth.
