The faces of darkest night have no windows,
no doors, only rooms that hide ghostly shadows
that haunt some daydreams and nightmares
as they look upon the world with scared, lost stares.
Love lost, love, so elusive for so many.
For others, they may never again know any.
Love – from beginning to our end, we always look for.
For some – along their way – it has closed it’s door.
Love for some, is looking from past – our prime,
into states and places that come from passed time.
Fear – that place some run to, to avoid the pain,
feelings, experiences they never care to know again.
Cautious are the steps one surly will take
in order to, never again, a mistake to make.
