I have just been sitting her waiting for the world to end
I have been waiting for quite some time
I stare up to the heavens
Waiting for time and space to bend
I sit here and try to forget
It’s a fruitless effort
The wounds just keep getting bigger
They will never mend
I watch society go to and fro
Something is not right
I do not seem to blend
I happen to be anchored here
I can never ascend
I try to eliminate that thought
But it seems sorrow is such a catchy trend
There I go …. Stuck in the mud again
A helping hand no one seems to want to lend
Sinking deeper in the quicksand
The inevitable is my only friend

First lines are awsome; never expected to hear about someone that just sat in there and waited for things to crumble and turn into corn and sand; the mood is overwelmingly strong @.@ reminds me of a song, Black Hole Sun; thanks a lot for the experience =D
