No Silk Purses
It's impossible to make a silk purse out of a Sow's ear
Why would we need to
I want to make things clear,
And adhere to the rules,
Only idiots and fools
Could you imagine a Sow's ear made of silk?
I cannot.
What Rot
Do elephants pack their trunks?
Or go on Holiday
No, they stay at home,
Where they like to roam
Do all birds have Pigeon Feet?
Do all carnivores eat meat?
And give Mc Donald a miss.
Do all love birds kiss?
Why are some dogs unable to bark?
And birds sing like a lark.
Others just squawk
Some parrots talk
Kangaroos jump
Camels have the hump
Possums play dead
Some creatures lay eggs
Fish can not live on land
They need the sea to survive
Babies of all species need feeding
To stay alive.
The world is full of complexities.
Understanding and perplexity
But one thing is crystal clear,
You can't make a silk purse out of a Sow's ear.
