No Regrets

As I look back on my life
And the decisions I've made
Some wrong, Some right
I've learned more from the mistakes than the things I did right
Being mistake free is always a fight
But there is no guarentee you'll always be right
Now failure is not my aim
But I would be lying if I said I've never hit it
And I would have never known there was a mark if I had never missed it
I believe we spend to much time reflecting on what could have happened
Than embracing who we have become and the good that happened
Sure better was a stranger then
You didn't know him
But he is an aquaintance now
Everything happened like it did to mold you into who you are
Now

Love the new found inspiration of poets I have been reading today. Glad to see your poetry among them Paul. May the sun always shine down upon you and continue to bring inspiration to your soul. Love, Carol
