No Regard For Life

There has been life and there has been death
I thought there wasn't much to see
Living life with no regard
And without regrets

Turn around, read the writing on the wall

I thought I was living life the only way
As the time went by I became unsure
I saw that life is more than day to day
I need to look at the past with the future

Turn around, read the writing on the wall

The truth comes out about my perfect life
And now I have to pay
For every breath
In the years between my birth and death
