No Other Way

It's not worth it for me to be so upset, It's not easy for me to forgive and forget, It's not fun for me to hurt someone I love, But for you it was simple to do all the above, I would never cheat, I would never lie, I would never want to make the one that I love cry, But for you it's normal, for you it's ok, That's why I feel there's no other way, To stay with you, I gave you my heart, But if I had known that you'd tear it apart, I wouldn't have given you all of me, And my deepest feelings I would've never let you see, I think of the good times and then think of all the bad, And in a way it all seems so sad, That I was so blind to all that was wrong, I overlooked the fact we were never meant to be all along.
