No More Victim

You’re too late to say it
You’ve missed the last boat
Your “I love you’s” don’t work
They just catch in your throat

You can’t play the victim this time

I won’t take the blame for this crime

It took much soul searching
Of things I can’t ignore
For me to say the words
“I just don’t care anymore”
