No More Victim

You’re too late to say it
You’ve missed the last boat
Your “I love you’s” don’t work
They just catch in your throat

You can’t play the victim this time
No not this time
I won’t take the blame for this crime
No not this time
Not this time

It took much soul searching
Of things I can’t ignore
For me to say the words
“I just don’t care anymore”

You can’t play the victim this time
No not this time
I won’t take the blame for this crime
No not this time
Not this time

I’ve taken your last ride
I lived in your last lie
It’s the light of true
Its time to say good bye

You can’t play the victim this time
No not this time
I won’t take the blame for this crime
No not this time
Not this time

You’re alone with yourself
With nothing but your lies
You’ve driven them all away
Now you’re left with your cries

You can’t play the victim this time
No not this time
I won’t take the blame for this crime
No not this time
Not this time

Goodbye to my true love
I hope you find your way
I hope you get better soon
I hope I see that day
