No More Us

I slowed down my walk,
I slowed down my pace.
I slowed down my talk,
Not everyday would you see my face.
I'm letting go of the phone,
I'm letting go of you and me.
I'm goona be alone,
Because that's how I'm meant to be.
I'm gonna stay apart,
Sooner or later, you will see.
As much as this kills my heart,
You would've left me alone eventually.

I can really feel the hurt in this poem-- I relate. Thanks for writing and don't stop! - Brooklyn
