No More Tears

Vaguely aware
The rains pour…
She rests her head,
Staring straight through…
Her russet brown eyes
Glazed and wet,
A few more tears
Born and dead…
Her curly locks, a disarray,
A silhouette of misery
Veiling her exquisite visage…
She bit her lip, lines blur her face,
So acute and aware of the blazing pain…
She lifts her head, aggravated,
Wanting and needing to make it end...
A final tear steals its way
A moment of clarity
Dawns and stays….
