No More Fun

As a Christmas gift he got a gun
He played with it and had lots of fun

To a little boy it was such joy
To have it as a toy

But when the boy became a man
Things didn't go as he had planned

And so this young man got a gun
A single shot, his life was done

Yours was my favorite of the couplets because it packed such a PUNCH in such few lines. Congrats, Joseph. (it reminded me of the style of one of my favorite poems Richard Cory)

This is so relevant, Joseph. And I can't help but wonder if the truth is so hard to see or are the advocates just digging their feet in the mud. Very well done! Best wishes for the Winners' List! Always, Annalise

This is a nicely dramatic one on the topic of why guns are bad!! I enjoyed it.
