No More

A shield she saw in his arms,
And he was the harm she should've known.
Her heart she surrendered,
little did she know that their story was no less than tightly embracing a cactus.

Into his trap she fell,
A few sweet words and an angel's smile is all it took.
Heaven he promised,
putting her through hell;
riding through the unquenchable zest.
Chains of love got hold of her,
Now passion is a prison she can't let free.

As much as it's the strongest bond,
love is the most fragile of all.
It needs to be protected and valued,
Constantly hurting the one you wouldn't want to live without doesn't only push them away,
it gives love a bad name.

They named love “ PAIN”
