No Mistakes
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
It comes in many ways
We make our minds up instantly
And that's usually how it stays
Skinny, short, fat or tall
Everyone has their taste
Why do we always dismiss someone
For their looks, in such a haste?
Why do we have to judge someone
By the color of their skin?
We close our minds to acceptance
And we just can't let them in
For everybody is different
And still we're all the same
If you can't accept them for who they are
You have only yourself to blame
Beauty shines from the inside out
It not always what you see
Maybe it's not about who they were
But who they strive to be
For we're created in God's own image
And He doesn't make mistakes
Maybe only a second glance
Is simply, all it takes
