No Luck With the Ladies

The man entered the doctor's office and took a seat.
"Doctor," he said, "you've got to help me.
I've never had any luck with the ladies.
Whenever I approach one I immediately freeze."
"You suffer," said the doctor, "from low self esteem.
Here's an exercise I want you to practice regularly.
Every morning look at your reflection in the mirror and exclaim,
"I'm a lean, mean, attractive, non stop love machine."
The man left the doctor's office excitedly
but returned the next week with the same look of defeat.
"Did my advice not work?" asked the doctor inquisitively.
"Your advice," said the man, "worked perfectly.
There isn't a woman alive who doesn't want to be with me."
"So then what's the problem?" the doctor asked without pause.
"I don't have a problem," said the man, "but my wife sure does."
