No Longer In Doubt

Now I know that you love me.
I know that it's true.
Don't know why I doubted,
God, how I love you!

Forgive me my doubts.
Forgive me my fears.
Forgive me my unnecessary 
And unbidden tears.

Without you, my life is in shadows,
A permanent night.
But I know that you love me
And everything is alright.

You are my firefly.
My light in the dark.
How could I ever suggest
That it was time that we part?

I know I'm annoying.
I know I obsess.
But know that my heart 
You truly possess.

And just so you know
I hope you never die to win,
Cause you think you're born to lose,
Cause I know what you possess within.

You've got heart and soul.
You've got zest for life.
You better not die on me 
And cause me pain and strife.

I know you're not perfect.
I don't want you to be.
There's something about you
That just sets me free.

Please don't ever change.
I want you to stay you.
Drunk adrenaline junkie,
You, I never want to subdue.

We might still have our problems.
We might still have our fights.
But with your love and my love
It will take us to new heights.

Just know that I love you.
Just know that I'm fine.
Because in my heart
You will always be mine.
