No Laughing Matter

When the joke's begun, it made you tense

They like poking fun, at your expense

Then laugh till they're blue, and choke on phlegm

When they laugh at you, the joke's on them

So, laugh when they laugh, it's up to you

You can gaff the gaff, they put you through

Just brush off their snide, and cold reply

When hushed deep inside, you wanna cry

Hi Deb, thanks. I hate bullies. If I wasn't a pacifist, I'd kick every bully I met in the asterisk.

Hello, Randy, what a razor-sharp, punchy, and deeply satisfying piece of poetic justice that carries a triumphant, unshakeable moral bite! YES! Blessings, Daniel

Daniel, howdy friend. Sorry it's been a while since I've visited, been dealing with cancer the past year, so I had to pause my pen. Time for me to catch up on what all of you have been writing these lost months.
