No Kid Is Perfect

A couple of aqquaintances
started speaking to me about their daughter
she's evil they stated
how can you say she's evil I asked

She's just naughty
naughty all the time
what does she do I asked
she put sissors into the video

she was only six years old
kids copy what you do
they learn by watching
she'd seen her parents

puttiing video's in and getting movies
putting knives and fork's in
she also hoped to get movies
granted kids don't always listen

but telling them you're evil
continually punishing
dosen't make it better
yell to often and they stop listening

It's not hard to love looking after children
take them out to the park
push them on the swings
get them gigling and life becomes fun

granted sometime they are naughty
sometimes you have to tell them off
my son and his mate both about ten years old
rang a friends father and told him his wife was in an accident

as punishment I made them walk up to the police
and tell an officer what they'd done
he made them wash his car for two weeks
you should have seen their little faces

washing the car was good punishment
and they never did it again
or at least I never found out about it
no kid is perfect but they all deserve your love.

Your poetic soul sees goodness in life, absorbing its beauty and quietly dispersing this treasure to others through you words. Emile. #7
