No Judgements Allowed
It does not really matter if I am misunderstood.
Trying to understand me will not do you any good.
Things are not always what they seem
and everything I say may not be what I mean.
My face may shine in spite of
this frown upon my face.
Or a tear may find itself
completely out of place.
So, please don't look at me
without first opening your eyes wide.
And try not to judge me
without first looking inside.
For today I may walk
with my head above the clouds,
trying to find myself included in the crowd.
But tomorrow I may have my feet
securely on the ground.
Trying to be alone with who I am...
