No Houdini

Locked in a straight jacket, Struggling to break free, I have no escape route, No magicians key, Bound by the trappings, Of life's locks and chains, On the verge of breaking, Trying to stay sane, I'll lie here inert, Maybe stillness is the key, Perhaps someone will come, Let me out and set me free, I have no clever way out, For I am no Houdini, I have no great illusions, I'm right here, why can't you see me.
