No Home For Christmas

No Home For Christmas

Homeless widow begs
The church for help, rent, and food.
"We will pray for you. "

Homeless widow begs;
Her mite was sorely lacking.
Church needed money.

The church for help, rent, and food,
Sent prayers, with her
Eviction notice.

"We will pray for you"...
Said saints and congregation...
No home for Christmas.

So painful and yet so true Deborah. And so controversial, yes? No home, avert your gaze, don't look at homeless people. Run to your church to be with like minded people who are all blind in a way.

Hugs to you too :) Pet peeves are okay, it's one of mine too. I've known that street life. I know how it works and I hate that attitude ferociously.

Indeed Darren. Also, we are to be active doers and givers to the needy... not store up riches here and in a physical structure of a church... but to the masses in need... to the body as a whole...as Jesus did and the early disciples. Not see they have a need and then wish them well and say I'll pray for you and your need...no power there. Nothing real there. Oops. Sorry Darren. Pet peeve of mine. Big Hugggs.
