No Glory In Pain
To wake up with an empty heart,
To the void within, with empty joys and empty sorrows.
To live and the life seem so apart.
To finally give in to the darkness within?
Or yet wage another war?
Salvation, at the end you'd think; None, if you'd lose or win.
Then to fill the empty heart with pity?
The void with anguish and ache?
To blame, to find some meaning; an act of sheer folly.
To stop for a moment, to look at them around you.
All gore from the battle, they wash; wounds and scars, but healing.
In all of the adversity yet they do smile, Their sheer audacity that astound you.
There's no Glory in the darkness,
No courage in pain.
The Glory is to fight and strive for Happiness,
To find the courage, to truly live again.
