No Dirges, Please

Sing me no mournful dirges-- No funeral hymns of morbid night. But sing me anthems of the morning-- Of new beginnings, dawning bright. Do not rain upon my pageant-- Bring out the rainbow tinted sky. There’s time enough for dark and dismal, Let's bask in sunshine, till we die.
