No Cuddles No Snuggles
Was here
Was there
Was nowhere...
She vanished overnight
My darling Mom
Where had she gone
Watching at window
From dusk till dawn
Each day the door would open
With food and drink galore
But all I wanted
Through that door
Was Mom
Now gone forevermore
No cuddles
No snuggles
Just a blanket
On the floor
Oh how I longed
To hear her voice
To feel her touch
I would rejoice
Then one fine day
I heard a sound
Footsteps struggling
On the ground
Was that her voice
Time to rejoice
'twas Panagiota
I ne'er forgot her
Her footsteps slower
Would always know her
Her smile so sweet
With my favorite treat
Mom's home at last
Life's now complete...
dedicated to Queen Irene and her Mom Panagiota ~ together at last
