No Company For Us
An oversized Bengal tiger guards my front door.
We quite rarely have visitors here anymore.
In the guesthouse live six giant grizzly bears.
Company rarely drops in to sit in our chairs.
Our excitable African lion stalks prey in our grass.
We don’t know why, but potential visitors usually pass.
I lament the lack of company, but my husband is fine.
And I know what to do with him if he gets out of line.
