No Chance Experience

Finding a job is hard to do Employers will just look at you Never giving you a chance Without any experience This is wrong-- it aint no lie Never letting someone try And seeing what you might find If they were just given time To learn and start to really grow As their skills begin to show Working hard right from the start And proving what is in their heart A smile you will always see For this opportunity So please don't turn someone away Who hasn't worked a single day When employers always choose To follow all these job skill rules Not stopping to realize This first timer before their eyes Just might be a shining star And go very very far This was written because my children are going through this right now. They can't get a job with no experience, and they can't get experience with out a job. Its a never ending battle.

This is very, very true. I applied recently for a job and didn't recieve it, for this was the first work I was ever applying for and I had no past experience. I got the rejection, but they gave hope saying they kept my resume in their file, as if they'd ever think twice to hire me! A very true and awsome poem! lovely my dear! xoxo hugs and kisses all around. We will all find work one day, either being a poet, or a bookseller, or a ditch digger or a doctor, we will all find work one day! :)

Everyone is going through a temp service now a days... It's not fair. Nice write, with your children in mind. :o)
