No Chance

Friends we are much more I yern for us
to be.
I take to silence cause its not him.
That I was ever ment to to be.

A barfly wasnt ever ment to see the light.
I'll bury my emotions .
So no one will ever catch sight.

Drown like a coward in this bottle of booze.
And ignore the impulse.
For its not in my nature to use.

speaking whats on my mind.
Isnt worth leaving you
behind.

I cannot speak these words to your face.
but you bring warmth to my life.
And take away the emptyness
from this dismal place.

If only I was a painter then i could show
you clear.
That I am empty without you here.

Am i the fool or just a pawn
just a worn out fighter in
a all to ready stance.
Dont need a fotune teller to
know I have no chance.
