Nightingale

Nondescript brown bird of renown,
nightly you serenade me.
Golden dulcet tones flood the woods
and I am wafted far away,
off into a wondrous dream world
full of mystical creatures.

Shadow, I think I saw the contest was judged, and it's too bad if this one did not make the list. I am seeing the 5th line has 7 syllables not 8. MAybe for this? The poem is very nice.
