Night Whispers

"Night Whispers all the secrets day keeps from me." I saw that on a sticker and this acrostic was inspired.

Now I lay me
In my bed
Gentle whispers float in my head
Holding tight lips to the day 
The whispers that flew away.

Whispers of secrets
Hidden by the daytime sky
Intrude my slumber 
Sliding into my mind 
Pieces of all the things I missed 
Ears and eyes absorb it all
Round and round they go 
Shining all the secrets I didn't know.
