Night Walk
The rain came down around the street
While old shoes dragged tired feet
The sky was gray, the day was cold
The air felt quiet, soft, and old
A passing car sped loudly by
Then faded somewhere through the sky
I pulled my hood up nice and tight
And walked myself back home that night
