Night Sky
The stars, oh how they shine
I believe you are out there
Watching and hoping to align
I promise, they are there for you to find
Thoughts and dreams
Sent out amongst the stars
Hoping to reach your streams
The light is who we are
Did you think I had gone?
I haven’t left
I’m part of your song
Don’t stop looking yet
I’m still here
Right where you left me
And I’m waiting without fear
Hoping you will come for me
I will continue to wait
As I am a part of you
Part of the great
Part of it all
As the glow of the moon
Settles on my soul
I hope to see you soon
Until then, I will wait on the knoll
