Night of Wild Bells
Celebrating one to leave and one anew
Wanting better days, bidding ones adieu,
Laughing, crying, with special gal or guy
Ring out wild bells to the wild sky.
Winter spirits cheered between all.
Dancing at parties having a ball,
Not allowing midnight to pass you by
Ring out wild bells to the wild sky.
Balloons, confetti floods your sight.
Fireworks, noises fill the night.
Your mind swirling, feeling the high,
Ring out wild bells to the wild sky.
This year your promises are there to keep.
Tomorrow some so weary, stay to sleep,
Some will rise early, with just a sigh.
Ring out wild bells to the wild sky.
Solemn days ended upon the wake.
Happier times are yours to make.
Happy New Years is everyone’s reply.
Ring out wild bells to the wild sky.
