Night Noise

Like a dog shredding the night's silence
In frantic barks, you keep stupid sentience
Of shadows cast by memories, no logic
Nor substance to your hatred sly, erratic
The foaming mouth guts the imagination
So that I see the vilest bile without irritation
A night full of noise tells your sleeplessness
Night noise drowning your watchful nervousness
And you imprisoned in your bark and foam
And need liberation, but I see only evidence
Of your condemnation, you left the home
So with noise, and still in absence it is your presence.
