Night Light
Shaped like an angel and always in sight
Translucent shine helping me see clear
Heaven protects me with its golden light
Soothing comfort from this scary night
shimmering glow of wings kept near

If darkness falls I'll stay awake and fight
grasping with fingers the cross I hold dear
Heaven protects me with its golden light
I'll conquer the shadows with all my might
hold back my scream and control my fear
My guardian angel is always in sight
A whisper of wings embracing me tight
say my prayers loud so God will hear

Rising of the sun my world is all right
ebb the flow of a child's silent tears
