Night Flying
Night Flying
Have you ever flown at night In your dreams
Jump up to fly, so easy it seems
Climb higher and higher, touching the stars
Circle the Earth, the Moon Jupiter, and Mars
You turn right or left with a tilt of your hands
Travel the world seeing beautiful lands
Take off and fly dip, and climb
You never run out of fuel; just run out of time
Fly over mountains or wet your face in the sea
Passing through the stars, that's where I'll be
Dip through the clouds, some dark as night
Fly higher and higher till Earth's out of sight
Travel different speeds that you decide
Like real airplanes, you tilt, or you glide
Eventually, the star flight lands in your airport bed
Time to capture your pillow and bury your head
You'll never know when your next flight might be
When your dream of flying is so hard to believe
So off we go into airborne plans tonight
To have visions again of such fantastic flights.
