Night Dancing

POEM "NIGHT DANCING" by martin gedge

Beneath the shade of brilliant skies
like shooting stars around your eyes
you make a wish and hold it to your heart
a night umbrella late night show
on milky ways and midnight glow
you shine like pretty diamonds in the dark
and my eyes behold as you unfold
all the beauty that is gold
a passion full of pleasure you adore
around the moon like flowers bloom
this warmth of summer midst of June
two dancing silhouettes across the floor
and wrapping arms around your charms
keep setting off my fire alarms
desire runs so deep I can't resist
I knew that moment when time stood still
with eager please to tease my will
to bring me to my knees with just one kiss...
