Night Before'
Tonight is the night before Passover,
Wonder if people even know or care?
Most don't know what it represents,
To be saved from Pharaoh's edict.
Take the Lamb and present a sacrifice.
Making a mark, according to Scripture.
A night of horror, for the Egyptians first born,
Hearts, shattered, devastated, tattered and torn.
Crying, shrieks, chilling screams, filled the night air.
While God's children and peoples were safe under His care.
Obeying our Father and celebrating His Holy feast,
Is a requirement, that all of us have to meet.
Have to remember the seven days of the Feast all that week.
It's God's statute It's how we think and speak.
God bless and that is all' There is no more.
It's God that we honor, For it's Jesus that I adore.
Pharaoh put this curse on his own people, He was the one,
From his lips a decree, He lost His first born son.
Be humble and remember this night well,
That the Lord saved you from a nightmare, a living Hell.
