Night
Teeth brushed
Babies hushed
Prayers said
Then to bed
Exciting dreams
In a world never seen
Health restored
From previous days' chores
Though body quiet
And still through the night
Brain busy as a bee
If we could only see
Now time to wake up
Shower & makeup
Kids ready for school
Wipe baby drool
Quiet sobs & screams
Pack healthy lunches
Include notes saying
" luv u bunches "
But bedtime don't delay
Night different world than day
Secret & seductive
Fantastic dreams if we're lucky
