Night

Night… Something not to be feared but to be loved… With shining stars observing from above A darkness protecting us like a shield… As we sleep with our eyes sealed. Night helps us seal our eyes… To let us dream away from all our lies. Distant in a world I can understand… Even basking in the sun on the summer sand. But when our eyes become restless and they slowly expand, We gradually drift away from our intangible sand. We rise and shine to this brand new light, And whisper our last words to a place we call night.
