Night

Beneath the stars,
The crickets sing,
A happy song of reckoning.

The night is calm,
Everyone asleep,
All but one do not creep.

The one is true,
And to the end,
They can be a lonely friend.

The night is calm,
It can lull you to sleep,
So no longer will you weep.
