Night

Night has fallen fast
No single sound enters my room
My mind is drifting

LOve this. yes, about poetry in the romance languages. But do you think any of them can compare to our number of rhyming words? hahaha

Wonderful use of the form here, Gert !! Thanks for your recent comments. Would love to hear more about life at the kibbutz !! Its a part of the world I've always wanted to visit but probably more like it was 25 years ago than now ... the wall makes me sad ...

That would be a really unusual night for there to be no sound for I always hear birds, wind chimes, appliances running noise, wind, cars, wild dogs, etc. My mind can drift even in all that going on around here but usually drifts to sleep. Keep the creative pen flowing. Thanks for the comments on my work. Sara

It seems Night bring rest and restlesness ,I wonder if your mind was drifiting in sleeo or in thought? When i was young i was so afraid of the night..then dad did a little dim light in my room,I used to look at that light. when my mind drifted in children's scary thoughts.think of morning and sleep..Night can be hard, yet if we dream it can be serene..Wishing you a Good Safe Night..Charma
