The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Nice Guys Finish Last

As the world turned
I think about what I learned
As the night dies
I see the light behind my cries

Love is such a painful game
Hearts are left to shame
The innocent seems to fade
To fade into the grey
But don’t lose faith my friend
We’re the ones who have hope
In the end

I gave my heart for everyone to take
But before it was all said and done
I had to break
Every night I mourned
All these vows were torn
But with every night that I cried
I learned what was the truth from the lies

Love is such a painful game
Hearts are left to shame
The innocent seems to fade
To fade into the grey
But don’t lose faith my friend
We’re the ones who have hope
In the end

This corrupt world just seeks pleasure
With no thought of forever
When it comes to love
He’ll never treat her as a dove
He’ll never put his heart in this
That’s not love, that’s just a kiss

Love is such a painful game
Hearts are left to shame
The innocent seems to fade
To fade into the grey
But don’t lose faith my friend
We’re the ones who have hope
In the end

It’s no lie that patience is virtue
There’s someone out there for you
God gave me the girl of my dreams
Hope isn’t as far as it seems
Hold on to faith
You’ll see it’s never too late

Love is such a painful game
Hearts are left to shame
The innocent seems to fade
To fade into the grey
But don’t lose faith my friend
We’re the ones who have hope
In the end

As the world turned
I think about what I learned
As the night dies
I see the light behind my cries
