Niagara Falls Escaping

raging waters trying to escape
                              falling over the edge
making it, into Canada, at last

lol..making it into Canada, at last. I was born near the Falls but not in a bucket. I didn’t get to ride the maid of the mist until I was an adult. But oh what fun!

They are indeed spectacular, I have had the pleasure of seeing the falls many times. Each time they take my breath away.

Thank you Jan. Believe me it is worth it. Enjoy the total experience, tasty restaurants near by. All the wonderful people from all over the world. The falls at night. The surreal feelings at night with the mist rising up, the powerful roar of the rushing water. You got me wanting to write another poem about it. Lol.
