Next Time

For too long, I've kept this inside.
For too long,
I run, and I hide.
You left us all alone.
Your priority is now clear.
You left us all alone,
when the chance was near.
Happiness evades me.
Happiness, sublime.
I might just find happiness,
at least, maybe next time.
