Next Journey
So Happy, she wears this smile
that makes her eyes glisten
as she spreads her warmth of love to others
& singing the song she'll never tell
careful of letting one emotion slip to show how much she really cares
or how each day her heart aches
just to know if today she will get by
without one thought or feeling
without one question or doubt
without one picture or word
running in her head.
She hides the truth like no other can
fooling you with a clear disguise
only running away from every man
Even though she may try to erase, the memories and what was planned,
it's only failure waiting to happen
Hoping only for one's happiness & joy, knowing time wont stand still
She takes 1 more breath , as her heart skips a beat
and closes the door in her life that was opened by one like NO other
that stole the key to unlock it & may never return it
Then she looks back to the past &
begins to walk toward the next road on her journey
