Next Generation

He lived, expressed, and passed on what he knew. It did not always taste good nor was it easy to chew. Perhaps his father also had hard-to-express emotions That remained inside him, filled with questions. Much of his DNA is within me that will not change; But there were other things I managed to rearrange. "Like father like son" need not be completely true. Some of our ways can change if only just a few. When awareness like a light bulb electrifies your life And reveals so much more than a little advice, may it Capture your attention with full devotion, inspiring you To leave a legacy and pass it on to the next generation.
