Newborns Versus Babies

The babies are so much fun,
So cuddly and warm,
So snuggly, and wonderful,
So ugly when first born.

The babies are so loved,
So cherished, so alive!
But the newborns, with their cat-cries,
Are so annoying when they cry.

Yes, I will babysit your baby.
And we can play and sing and laugh.
I will give her and him both bottles,
But if it is a newborn, I will pass.

I love babies that newborn smell and the pressed legs and arms right out of the womb. I have not seen an ugly baby never. As They grow are so cool. I guess that is why I had so many of them. Love this poem good job.

I should have said how comparative ugly to their ADORABLE future selves; they get so cute in a month, I cannot believe they ever started out looking like they did in the beginning.

LOL! Too funny! Newborns are the most needy, more fragile, looking to the person they open their eyes to for the utmost! Like it!! Fave!

Thanks Kim. I am terrified of their ugliness and their cries.
