New Winds
Sometimes in life God gives us tools to brave new winds
We only have to be still and listen to the sway,bend
Spirit is guiding us whether raining or snowing
Faith will take us places with or without our knowing
He has put a song in my heart and words in my pen
To help fill the gaps where we’ve never been
In the hopes that I will follow in His lead
I love the time we share talking and writing indeed
So the next time your winds are up hold steadfast to him
He will cover you and the winds your riding in
To show you your gift and shift your life
In such a direction to clear the strife
