New Start

On the downside of life,
                                                Was widowed by my wife;
                                                thought that part of life was over,
                                                then like a majestic field of clover,
                                                you sprang into my lonely heart,
                                                this could be a brand new start;
                                                I found myself in love again,
                                                hoping you could love this man;
                                                when suddenly I found love returned,
                                                you loved me too, is what I learned;
                                                now we have a love so strong,
                                                always together is where we belong;
                                                you never seem to bring me strife,
                                                I'll always want you to be in my life.
