New Reality
Reality of a day
show me the way
to make it through
I toss and turn
I seek to learn
a new song to sing
Give me a reason
to love this season
of life so dreary
The sounds I make
the breaths I take
seem so unreal to me
Take me to a place
where a warm embrace
can make me whole again
Make my feet dance
to the sweet romance
of the song in my heart
And through all of this
grant me a single kiss
to start fresh and new
