New Poetry Inspiration

There was a time
with mellow eyes she came
Move in the light of hope
On a cold, cold winter night
I heard God's voice saying
"Will you take these beans,
for they are magic?"
To a child, I say
"Your face is so pure"
The perfect man has
fallen to the tune she played
"No more tears for it is time
to let go of the concrete pillow"
What say you?
Wasted Eskimo love is
a choice of pain I can not explain.
